  2.  Fill the container with a proper soil mix and add some amount of Compost in it.

  3. Place the plant in the container.

  4. Water the plant thoroughly so that the water starts coming out of the drainage hole. This ensures that the water has reached bottom roots and not just limited to the top layer of soil.

If you are keeping your plant indoors, then you can water them once in a week or once in 2 weeks, depending as per your weather. If you ask me, I water my plant once a week during hot summers and once in 2 weeks during normal days. And during, rainy season, I water them once in 3weeks or more.

How to Prune Jade Plant:

Pruning is essential, as it promotes new growth and makes your plant look good and green. The best time for pruning is when you see any crisscross shoots and weak, dry and diseased branches. Or you can prune them to shape them like bonsai trees if you would like.

How to Propagate your Jade Plant:

Then place your cutting in any rooting hormone(optional) and place it in the soil mix. That's it! Now you can gift it your friend. Tell them to keep the soil moist and after a few days start watering regularly.
